Foi através da Mara que comecei a entender e a me interessar mais sobre o mundo das pessoas com deficiência. Antes, eu caía nas calçadas ruins e não achava que podia mudá-las. A Mara, através de suas falas e vídeos, me mostrou que isso (e muito mais) é possível.

Agora em 2018, Mara será candidata ao Senado pelo seu partido, PSDB, em São Paulo. Será uma eleição difícil. Mara perdeu cinco mil votos na sua 2ª eleição para o Congresso e São Paulo tem candidatos fortes e conhecidos. Mas evidente que já estou aqui na torcida porque precisamos da representatividade da Mara no Senado.

My friends, I have not talked about the universe of people with disabilities here in the blog for some time. But today, I have something new, something I read a few weeks ago that made me very happy: Mara Gabrilli is a Senate candidate in São Paulo.
It was through Mara that I began to understand and become more interested in the world of people with disabilities. Before, I would fall on the bad sidewalks and did not think I could change them. Mara, through her speeches and videos, showed me that this (and more) is possible.

Now in 2018, Mara will be a Senate candidate for her party, PSDB, in São Paulo. It will be a difficult election. Mara lost five thousand votes in his second congressional election and São Paulo has strong and well-known candidates. But obviously I'm already here in the crowd because we need the representation of Mara in the Senate.

Durch Mara begann ich, die Welt der Menschen mit Behinderungen zu verstehen und sich mehr für sie zu interessieren. Mara verlor bei seinen zweiten Kongresswahlen fünftausend Stimmen und São Paulo hat starke und bekannte Kandidaten. Aber offensichtlich bin ich schon hier in der Menge, weil wir die Vertretung von Mara im Senat brauchen.
