Como a grande maioria das pessoas, estou estupefato com a vitória de Trump.
No texto que escrevi aqui na segunda-feira, recomendei aos norte-americanos que acompanham o blog que votassem em Hillary. Umas das razões que enumerei foi a de que, na minha modesta opinião, Trump consegue ser pior do que o ex-presidente George W. Bush. Bush invadiu o Iraque por causa de uma mentira. Vários norte-americanos morreram por causa da invasão prolongada ao Afeganistão. O governo dele levou os EUA a recessão. Oito anos depois, repetem o erro e elegem Trump. Não entendi. Aliás, os EUA é um país estranho mesmo. Isso mesmo! Assim como George W. Bush fez menos votos do Al Gore e venceu a eleição, Trump recebeu 200 mil votos a menos do que Hillary. Que tipo de democracia é essa em que a minoria ganha? Não consigo entender.
Infelizmente, os Estados Unidos são a nação mais poderosa do mundo e, por isso, não ficamos imunes à sua eleição presidencial. Agora, é torcer para que a eleição de Trump não nos afete muito, o que acho difícil. Se ele deportar os imigrantes, como prometeu, muitos brasileiros voltarão e teremos ainda mais desempregados no nosso país.
